Last Full Moon of Summer Play

This moon is the Sturgeon. Snaking its way in the lake bottoms.
Slipping taut and purposefully beneath tonnages of water.

Full moon. Unifier,
reminding me of friends and family around the world,
celebrating in her avid reflection.

On the lunar wind

I hear
friends playing music,
singing in the soul light.

I feel friends
dancing to drums,
playing in shimmering waves.

I see them
in silvery suits pouring molten iron,
golden-orange sparks bouncing.

I know them
as they know me. Heart-wise
and softly glowing.
